Power Rangers Dino Fury season 3 - Power Rangers Cosmic Fury

September 29th is the release date for the third season of Power Rangers Dino Fury, Cosmic Fury. In this hybrid season of Ryusoulger suits and Kyuranger mecha (a mix of sentai suits with other Sentai mecha hasnt been done since Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Season 3) the Dino Fury Rangers get their powers and colors evolved by the Cosmic Orbs and they gain new Zords to fight in space.

Amelia the Pink Ranger becomes the Red Ranger with the Red Cosmic Orb and pilots the Lion Cosmic Zord

 Ollie uses the power of the Blue Cosmic Orb to become the Blue Ranger and pilot the Wolf Cosmic Zord.

Izzy uses the power of the Green Cosmic Orb to become the Green Ranger and pilot the Chameleon Cosmic Zord

Javi uses the power of the Black Cosmic Orb to become the Black Ranger pilot the Bull Cosmic Zord.

Aiyon uses the power of the Gold Cosmic Orb to become the Gold Ranger and pilot the Shark Cosmic Zord.

 

Zayto the Red Ranger becomes the Zenith Ranger with the Zenith Cosmic Orbs and pilots the Balance and Cobra Cosmic Zords. 

 

Fern gains the Orange Cosmic Orb and becomes the Orange Ranger and pilots the Scorpion Cosmic Zord.

 

The Cosmic Megazord is the combination of the Lion, Shark, Chameleon, Bull and Wolf Zords.

The Zenith Ranger's Cobra and Balance Zords can combine with the Cosmic Megazord for additional fire power.

Isabela Merced cast in Madame Web

 

 Isabela Merced has been cast in Madame Web and possible role based on a "leaked" plot summary is Anya Corazon. According to the leaked details, Anya is "an Avatar for the Web of Life" who is being hunted by a dark force across the Spider-Verse and Julia Carpenter (Madame Web) must keep her safe.

In Marvel Comics, Anya Corazon is Araña, a young superhero powered by a mystical spider-tattoo. After her mystic powers were taken from her, she received spider-like powers from a mysterious virus based on Spider-Man's DNA and was given the costume worn by Julia Carpenter during her time as Arachne. Anya became Spider-Girl for a while before returning to her Araña persona (with a new costume).

Anya Corazon was a pivotal player in the story arc where Cassandra Webb made Julia Carpenter the new Madame Web, and her current storyline has Araña traveling the Spider-Verse so her inclusion in the film seems like a very logical choice.

Celeste O'Connor cast in Madame Web

 

 

Celeste O'Connor has been cast in Madame Web. They are rumored to be playing Mattie Franklin, a Spider-hero from another reality who lost her home reality due to an multiversal incursion and wanders the Spider-Verse.

For those unfamiliar with Mattie Franklin, Mattie was the niece of JJ Jameson and a huge fan of Spider-Man. She took part in a magical ceremony that imbued her with super strength and the power to fly. She used her power to impersonate Spider-Man before deciding to become the third Spider-Woman. Her powers were stolen from her by Charlotte Witter and when Mattie got her powers back she also gained Charlotte's psychic spider-legs as well as some of the powers Charlotte had stolen from Spider-Woman Jessica Drew (a psionic version of Jessica's venom blasts) and Julia Carpenter (psi-webs). Mattie became a protege of Cassandra Web until she and her mentor were both hunted down by the Kravinoff family.

With the connections to Madame Web, Charlotte Witter and magic, Mattie would be the logical choice for Celeste to play in a magic-based Spider-film.

Sydney Sweeney cast to play Charlotte Witter in the Madame Web movie?

 

Euphoria star Sydney Sweeney has been cast to play opposite Dakota Johnson in the Sony/Marvel Madame Web movie. With Dakota rumored to playing Julia Carpenter, speculations have begun about Sydney playing Charlotte Witter, the granddaughter of the original Madame Web and the evil Spider-Woman.

For those unfamiliar with this character,  Charlotte Witter was the granddaughter of Cassandra Webb, the original Madame Web. A fashion designer who secretly worked with the sale of illegal goods, Charlotte's criminal activities put her in the tentacles of Doctor Octopus. Realizing her psychic potential, Doctor Octopus experimented on Charlotte and turned her into a human spider-hybrid with the purpose of hunting down anyone with spider-powers. Able to manifest psychic spider-legs from her back, drain spider-powered people of their powers, and hypnotize people, she stole the powers of original Spider-Woman Jessica Drew. the second Spider-Woman Julia Carpenter, and new Spider-Woman Mattie Franklin. It took the combined might of Spider-Man, Madame Web, and the three depowered Spider-Women to stop her.

With her ties to both Cassandra Webb and Julia Carpenter, Charlotte Witter could likely be the villain of the Madame Web movie.

Dakota Johnson cast to play Madame Web/Julia Carpenter

 

Dakota Johnson has been cast to play Julia Carpenter (the second Madame Web) in Sony's new Madame web film. Dakota confirmed her casting on Instagram with a simple web emoji.

For those unfamiliar with the character, Julia Carpenter was a psychic web spinning super hero who took on the identity of Spider-Woman when the original (Jessica Drew) lost her powers. Julia later took the code name of Arachne. When Cassandra Web (the original Madame Web) was fatally injured she used the psychic nature of Julia's powers to transfer her own psychic powers into Julia and made her the new Madame Web.

As Madame Web, Julia has her original powers of psychokinetic energy webs (her psi-webs) and the power to cling to walls with her psionic energy, along with the clairvoyant powers of Cassandra Web and her link to the Web of Reality.

The prevailing rumor is that the Madame Web film will have Julia explore the Web of Reality to introduce the Spider-Verse.

The Jade costume history

 

Daughter of the first Green Lantern, Jenny Lynn Hayden developed the power to generate the same mystical Starheart energies that fueled her father's ring and became the hero known as Jade. Able to fly and create any object she could think of out of fiery green energy, Jade had all the powers of a Green Lantern without the need for a power ring. Jade's first costume was a white-and-black sleeveless bodysuit with white boots and and green Starheart symbol. When Jade left her original team, Infinity Inc, to join the corporate superhero team known as the Blood Pack, she donned a dark green-and-silver bodysuit with a pocket belt and a modified star symbol. Jade discovered that the Starheart that was the source of her powers was a sentient being with very dark urges. The Starheart tried to make Jade it's vessel and gave her a starfield patterned black bikini with silver gloves and boots as her new costume. Jade rebelled and sacrificed her powers to seal the Starheart away. Jade's boyfriend Kyle Rayner (the current Green Lantern at the time) gave Jenny a copy of Hal Jordan's (the second Green Lantern of Earth) power ring and with it she wore the classic Green Lantern costume minus the mask. As she began to embrace her role as Earth's newest Green Lantern, Jade altered her costume to make it more her own, making it primarily black and white with Kyle's Green Lantern symbol on it. When Kyle absorbed a massive amount of Green Lantern energy stored in the sun itself, he became the Ion and used his new powers to tap into the residual Starheart energy in Jade's DNA and recreate her powers. Jade celebrated the return of her powers by changing the symbol on her costume back to a star symbol and added white gloves. When Jade became the leader of the hero team known as the Outsiders, she wore a sleeveless black-and white body suit with long black gloves with Green Lantern symbols on the shoulders. Jade died on a mission in outer space, but was resurrected by newly created White Lantern ring. As a White Lantern Jade wore a white-and-silver costume with the White Lantern symbol altered to look like her original symbol. Jade decided that the power of a White Lantern wasn't meant for her, and gave up the ring. She recreated her original costume with the addition of black sleeves, white gloves, and a glowing green crystalline version of her star symbol.

Linda Danvers Costume History

 

Linda Danvers was Kara Zor-El's replacement as Supergirl, as Kara had been retroactively erased from existence. Linda gained her powers from a protoplasmic life-form called the Matrix, which not only allowed her to shapeshift into a tall statuesque blond at will, but endowed her with superhuman strength, flight, invulnerability, and telekinesis. As Supergirl, Linda wore a blue leotard with a red-and-yellow S-insignia along a gold belt, red skirt, red boots and red cape. Supergirl began to manifest flaming wings of pure energy as it was revealed that the act of Linda and the Matrix fusing had made her an Earth-born angel. During a fight with a demonic entity, the Matrix separated from Linda to save her soul. Despite no longer having the Matrix's powers, Linda somehow retained about half of her orignal super-human strength and limited invulnerability and continued to act as Supergirl. No longer able to shapeshift into her Supergirl form, Linda created a new costume using a blonde wig to hide her natural brown hair along with a white S-shield bare midriff t-shirt, white gloves, a blue minishirt, and a red cape with matching red combat boots. Linda was able to find the Matrix and free her from the demons who held her prisoner and Matrix used her angelic powers to give Linda back her original Supergirl powers before leaving to explore the world on her own.  When a version of the original Kara Zor-El appeared on Earth, Linda learned the young girl was destined to die and took her place on her reality. The Superman of this new reality realized that Supergirl was in fact not his cousin Kara and fell in love with Linda. The two married and had a daughter and Linda became Superwoman, wearing a modified version of her previous costume with replacing the t-shirt with a white leotard and adding a gold belt. Linda eventually ad to give up her new life and restore Kara to her correct reality when she learned that she had greatly altered the timeline and was going to cause multiversal devastation. Linda managed to ensure that her daughter would not be erased once the timeline was reset before being returned to her original reality. Devastated that she had sentenced Kara to die and would never see her daughter again, Linda gave up her life as a superhero. Somehow Linda and Matrix were fused back into an Earth-Born angel once more, with a white toga to match her new flaming white feathered wings, before being trapped in hell for eternity.

In a universe where Kara Zor-El was the only Kryptonian  hero on Earth, Linda never fused with the Matrix and instead used a jetpack and wrist blasters to be the hero known as Interceptor, wearing a red-and-blue bodysuit with a fiery gold angel symbol, a red mask with gold lenses, and silver boots.

Cassandra Cain Costume History

With Cassandra Cain making her film debut in Birds of Prey, let's look at the many costumes she has worn in the comics.
Cassandra Cain, daughter of assassins David Cain and Lady Shiva, was raised to be a killer at a very early age. Deprived of language so she would learn to read body moments, David Cain taught Cassandra how to fight and predict her opponents' attacks. When he forced her to kill a man she fled and lived on the streets until she was found by Batman and Oracle (Barbara Gordon, the former Batgirl). Offering her a chance to be a hero, they gave her the black Batgirl costume formerly worn by the Huntress. As she grew into her role as the new Batgirl, she found that her full face mask and black costume made people scared of her, so she tried to fight crime in Oracle's old Batgirl costume. However she soon found that she was far more effective and comfortable in her all black costume. When Batman was thought to be dead, Cassandra passed the Batgirl mantle to her friend Stephanie Brown and moved to Hong Kong to find herself. While there, she fought crime in a black bodysuit with silver armored accents, a lower face mask, and a cape-like scarf. When she was convinced to come home she created a new persona, the Black Bat. As Black Bat she wore a modified version of her original Batgirl costume, making the bat symbol sold gold and replacing her full facemask with a sleek domino mask.
After the events of New 52, Cassandra was the daughter of David Cain, known as Orphan. He raised Cassandra to be a killer to please the mysterious Mother. Mother deemed Cassandra a failure and David Cain died freeing his daughter. Cassandra choose the codename Orphan to honor her father and was taken in by Batman. At first her Orphan costume was a black and gold bodysuit with a utility belt, and she hid her identity with a bloody bat symbol "mask" painted over her eyes. After she officially joined Batman's team she donned a black full face mask almost identical to the one she wore as Batgirl and replaced her fingerless gloves with full gloves. In 'Harley Quinnand the Birds of Prey'' Cassandra wears a sleeker version of her Ophan suit with yellow bat symbol along with a black lower face mask and short yellow gloves.
In a possible future, Cassandra was Batwoman, wearing a stylized version of her Batgirl costume, with armored gauntlets, gold mask lenses, and huge yellow bat emblem.
In a different future, Cassandra is part of a team of Batgirls, wearing an armored bodysuit with a gold bat emblem and bat-eared cowl.

Huntress Costume History

With Birds of Prey making its film debut, lets look at the many costumes worn by one of the Bird of Prey's members, the Huntress.
Helena Wayne was the daughter of Batman and Catwoman from Earth-2. She followed in her parents' footsteps as a crimefighter and became the Huntress after her mother was killed. Her costume was meant to pay homage to both Batman (with its blue scalloped caped and gold ultilty belt) and Catwoman (with its purple color scheme and cat-like mask).
After the events of Infinite Crisis, Earth-2 was erased and a new hero became Huntress. Helena Bertinelli lost her family to a mafia hit as a little child and swore vengeance. As an adult she was inspired by Batman and decided to hunt down every member of the mob as the Huntress. Her first costume was very similar to the one worn by Helena Wayne, only more armored and with a darker color scheme. As she grew into her identity, Huntress slightly altered her costume, brightening the color and giving her leotard an x-like design. Huntress would later change the color scheme of this from violet-and-blue to black-and-purple and replace the leotard with a protective bodysuit.
When Gotham was separated from the mainland and quarantined, Helena took advantage of the confusion to create a new identity for herself. Donning a black bodysuit yellow outline of a bat symbol, a cape, and  a bat-eared cowl with a full face mask, Helena took the mantle of Batgirl (formerly held by Barbara Gordon until she was paralyzed from the waist down by the Joker). Batman allowed her to use the costume until Helena disobeyed his direct orders to stop the villainous Two-Face, and he stripped her of her Batgirl costume and he and Barbara gave the identity to  Cassandra Cain.
Helena became a reluctant member of the superteam, the Birds of Prey and returned to her Huntress persona, this time with a navy blue-and-white leotard with a purple mask and cape as well as armored purple gloves and boots.
With the events of New 52, Earth-2 was reborn. Once again Helena Wayne was the daughter of her Earth's Batman and Catwoman, and fought crime as Robin (wearing a red-and-green armored bodysuit with a yellow cape ad red mask). During an alien invasion, Helena accidentally fell through a dimension portal and landed on Earth Prime. She assumed the alias of Helena Bertinelli and fought crime on her new Earth as Huntress, wearing a black-and white bodysuit with purple accessories (that seemed to be a combination of the last two Huntress costumes). Eventually she was able to return to Earth-2 and redesigned her Huntress costume, making it sleeker and replacing the purple on her suit with white.
The real Helena Bertinelli on Earth Prime became Huntress after leaving the espionage agency Spyral. Her costume was a simplified version of her Earth-2 counterpart's black-and-white unfirorm, adding a hood and replacing the cape with a sleeveless trenchcoat.

Black Canary Costume History

With Birds of Prey making its film debut, lets look at the many costumes worn by one of the Bird of Prey's members, the Black Canary. The first Black Canary was Dinah Drake, the love interest of police officer Larry Lance. Relying on her acrobatic and martial arts prowess, Dinah Drake wore a black leotard over fishnet stockings along with a black bomber jacket and black boots. She hid her identity with a simple black mask. Dinah Drake and Larry would eventually marry and have a child, Dinah Lance.
As Dinah Lance grew up she discovered she had a metahuman power to create sonic blasts using only her voice. Calling her power the "Canary Cry", Dinah wanted to carry on the Black Canary tradition. Dinah wore a costume similar to her mother's costume, only with a blue jacket and without the mask. As she became a more accomplished hero, Dinah Lance decided to create her own version of the Black Canary costume, a blue-and black bodysuit with a bird-like design and white boots. When a drug dealer damaged her throat, Dinah Lance lost her sonic scream and quit being the Black Canary. When she finally decided to become a hero again, she created an armored version of her original costume with blue and gold accents, a canary utility belt, and no fishnets. She replaced her lost powers with golden discs capable of generating ear-splitting soundwaves. As she joined the the superhero team, the Birds of Prey, she added a jacket and armored leggings to her costume. When she regained her Canary Cry she created a sleek black and gold version of her first costume. Later she would add a black trenchcoat to the costume.

With the timeline altered by the events of new 52, Dinah Drake was once again Black Canary. As a member of Team 7 she wore a black and gold combat suit with blue fishnet patterns on the legs. Dinah was unknowingly injected with metagenes while on a mission and developed a sonic scream. She would become the Black Canary, wearing high-tech formfitting black-and-gold body armor over blue fishnet leggings. Later she would abandon her armored uniform for a punk rock look.  She wore a blue-and-black bodice with a black leather motorcycle jacket, cutoff shorts, fishnet stockings, and combat boots. In the altered reality called Gothopia, Dinah Drake was the sonic-singing Warbler, in a white-and-sky blue bodysuit.

Marvel's new Realm of Champions game introduces a new version of Madame Web

Marvel is going to be releasing a new RPG called Realm of Champions. Loosely based on the Battleworld from Secret Wars, in where multiple Marvel realities were fused into one planet, Realm of Champions is on a future world where the playable characters from the Marvel's Contest of Champions never got to return home from the Battle Realm and have created their own kingdoms.

One of the most surprising characters was the new Madame Web, leader of the Spider-Guild. This iteration isn't Cassandra Webb or Julia Carpenter, but instead appears to be a future version of Gwen Stacy aka Ghost-Spider. Judging from the cane, Gwen became Madame Web after an injury.

No release date for the game has been announced yet, but the story of this new world should be interesting.

New superhero movie announced by Sony, Madame Web!

Madame Web will be starring in her own movie as Sony announced plans for a Madame Web feature film. Rumors have been circulating that the movie will focus on Julia Carpenter as she is being trained to take over the role of Madame Web from Cassandra Webb.

For those unfamiliar with the character, Cassandra Webb was a mutant with vast psychic powers who suffered from blindness and a degenerative muscular disease that confined her to a mechanical life support web. Calling herself Madame Web, she was a valued friend of  Spider-Man and used her gifts of precognition, clairvoyance, and telepathy to guide him.

While she briefly regained her youth and mobility due to a magical ritual, Cassandra soon found herself reverted to her true age and then died at the hands of of the Kravinoff family. In her last moments, Cassandra  passed her powers  to Julia Carpenter AKA Arachne (and the second Spider-Woman) and made her the new Madame Web.

If the rumors are true, then Julia will be using her powers as Madame Web to open up the Web of Reality and explore parallel dimensions, possibly allowing Tom Holland's Spider-Man to travel to the Sony cinematic universe.

Vixen Costume History

Mari Jiwe McCabe has worn quite a few costumes as the mystic totem wielding Vixen. Her first costume was a blue leotard with a gold fox mask and matching gold gloves and boots. As she began to master her totem's animal ability mimicking magic as a member of the Justice League, Vixen changed her look to a tawny orange sleeveless bodysuit with matching gloves and a red belt and  short red boots (and gave herself a fox-eared haircut). She later decided to cut her hair and switch to a black leather bodysuit with purple accents and a purple utility belt. Vixen then simplified that look by making the entire outfit dark purple and added a gold belt. When Vixen joined super-team called the Ultramarine Corp, she donned a sleek black-and-orange uniform. As a member of the vigilante team, the Birds of Prey, Vixen put her hair in long braids and wore a sleek purple bodysuit with gold accents and matching jewelry. When she rejoined the Justice League, Vixen wore a orange bodysuit that was a sleeker version of her second costume with silver accents.

After the events of Flashpoint created the New 52 continuity, Vixen became the member of the Justice League International. Her costume was a yellow bodysuit with orange tiger stripes along the sides, short yellow gloves, a silver belt, and gold jewelry. And when she was asked to join the new Justice League of America, Vixen wore a stylized black-and-light orange bodysuit with stripe-like accents.

The Black Cat Costume History

Marvel's feline-themed thief has worn quite a few costumes while running across the rooftops of New York. Felicia Hardy fist made her debut as Black Cat wearing a a black mask, white fur-collared black bodysuit with white furred boots, and  matching furry steel-clawed gloves. She played to people's superstitions by setting "bad luck" traps near her crime scenes. After she met Spider-Man, she gave up crime to be his partner, and even underwent a dangerous procedure to acquire powers of her own so she could help him more. However her new powers to alter probability and cause bad luck were secretly a trap by Spider-Man's enemy, the Kingpin. Spider-Man had been permanently cursed by Black Cat's powers, and when he had the sorcerer Doctor Strange remove the curse, the counterspell caused Black Cat to lose her powers right in the middle of a mission and she was severely beaten by her enemies.
Black Cat created a new costume to hide her injuries; a special black mask to hide her broken nose along with a black-and-gold jacket over a white bodysuit. She blamed Spider-Man for her injuries and dissolved their partnership, only to discover that Doctor Strange's magic hadn't removed her powers, but had slowly altered them. Black Cat now had superhuman strength and speed, infrared night vision, and the power to shift her fingernails into long talons. To celebrate her new powers Black Cat donned a dark blue catsuit with white gloves, a gold belt, and a sharply-pointed black cat mask. However, when she saved Spider-Man from a device designed to steal his powers, she was affected by the machine and lost her abilities instead.
Even though she lost her powers for the second time, Black Cat landed on her feet. She had the criminal inventor, the Tinkerer, design a suit for her that would replace her lost abilities. He gave her a suit that was inspired by her original costume, only with a plunging neckline instead of a fur collar. Her new suit was created with microservos embedded in the fabric to boost her strength and speed, grapple hook launchers hidden in the fur cuffs of her gloves, and her gloves were made of polarized mesh that, when she flexed her fingers a certain way, would morph into magnetically-charged metal talons. She also had night vision contact lenses and balance enhancing earrings. Black Cat would later upgrade her suit to a more streamlined solid black suit with white fur accents. When she was asked to break the Green Goblin out of prison, Black Cat donned a solid black armored version of her suit.
When Black Cat decided to try being a superhero, she wore a new costume with elements from her previous suits, with a plunging neckline, thigh holsters, and white furred boots. But her luck would change when she decided to steal again, and ran into a Doctor Octopus-possessed Spider-Man. Doc Ock/Spider-Man beat her savagely and turned her over to the police. Blaming Spider-Man, Black Cat escaped and fully embraced her criminal nature, and donned a solid black catsuit with black fur accents, a silver belt, and gold cat's eye emblems on her collarbone.
In another reality, Black Cat wore a specialized cat-eared version of her original suit to fight alongside Wolverine. In the Ultimate universe, Black Cat still had her bad luck powers and wore a feline-themed black bodysuit with white fur accents and white gloves and a black cat mask with gold night vision lenses. And in the Supernaturals' universe, Black Cat possesses both her original bad luck ability and her cat-like physical powers and wears an open-toed black leather bodysuit with a spiked collar and a purple hair stylized into cat ears.
In the year 2099, Felicia's clone is the future Black Cat, genetically altered to have the feline abilities  of Tigra and the teleportation powers of Vanisher. She wears a black bodysuit with open toed boots and neon blue lights, and flowing blue plasma "fur" accents.
In the Spider-Man PS4 game, Black Cat wears a high-tech black bodysuit with white accents and mask-like googles with night vision lenses.

Cassandra Sandsmark's Wonder Girl costume history

Cassandra Sandsmark has worn quite a few costumes after taking the mantle of Wonder Girl from Donna Troy, the first Wonder Girl. When she took the gauntlet of Atlas and the sandals of Hermes to gain super-strength and flight, Cassandra's first costume was a cobbled together uniform consisting of googles, a black wig, a bomber jacket, a black Wonder Woman symbol t-shirt, red bike shorts and white gloves and sneakers. When she had to return the magical Olympian artifacts, Zeus (king of the Olympian gods) gifted Cassandra with actual powers of flight and superhuman strength. Cassandra celebrated her new powers by tossing aside her wig, replacing her bike shorts with star-spangled blue jeans, and wearing a pear of metal gauntlets. After she became the leader of Young Justice, Wonder Girl got rid of the jacket and donned a black Wonder Woman symbol tank top, red star-spangled pants and black boots. After she became a member of the Teen Titans, Wonder Girl wore a new costume consisting of a red Wonder Woman symbol tank top, red leggings with gold stars, and black boots. Later Wonder Girl decided to switch her costume to a red-and-gold Amazonian eagle-emblem tank top and blue jean with a Wonder Woman symbol belt. When Wonder Girl learned that she was actually the daughter of Zeus and a goddess in her own right, her tank top became a red shirt with a stylized golden W emblem and she removed her gauntlets.

After the events of new 52, Cassandra was no longer Zeus's daughter, but was instead his granddaughter and Wonder Woman's neice (as her father was now Zeus's demigod son Lennox and Wonder Woman's half-brother). When she found the magical Silent Armor, she gained flight and superhuman strength. She donned a costume consisting of a red starry bodysuit with a hood, and golden gauntlets and boots. As she mastered the Silent Armor's powers, she gained a golden W symbol chest plate with a matching tiara and belt. Wonder Girl soon developed powers on her own as her Olympian heritage began to manifest. She then wore a red-and blue Wonder Woman t-shirt with a red bomber jacket with a black skirt over black leggings with golden star patterns and red sneakers.

The Conner Kent Superboy costume history

The teenaged tactile-telekinetic clone of Superman, Conner Kent (also called Kon-El) has worn quite a few costumes as Superboy. He began his career believing he was Superman after escaping the genetics lab that created him. His black, blue and red Superman uniform had a cape, but it was torn off in the escape and Conner replaced it with a black leather jacket. When he met the real Superman, Connerr assumed the alias Superboy. When he lost his tactile-telekinetic powers, Superboy was basically powerless aside from some limited enhanced strength. He created a new costume to supplement his lost abilities. His new costume (consisting of a black Superman t-shirt, blue jeans, red gloves, and red boots) was enhanced by an anti-gravity flight ring and a wristband that could expand into a shield. After he regained his lost powers, Conner was dismayed to learn that his original costume was called outdated. Superboy donned a more streamlined costume with all the black accents replaced with red, a red-and-blue jacket, and red goggles. He soon simplified his look even more by getting rid of the jacket and goggles. When Conner was sent to live with Superman's adoptive family in Smallville, he replaced his costume with a simple outfit consisting of a black-and-red Superman t-shirt, blue jeans, and black  boots.

After the evens of New 52, Superboy's history was rebooted. Instead of being Superman's clone, the new Superboy (who went by his his Kryptonian name of Kon-El) was the clone of Superman's future son. Possessing immense telekinetic powers, Superboy wore a hi-tech black-and-red bodysuit that kept his cells charged with the solar energy he needed to fuel his abilities. And now a younger version of the original Conner Kent has entered the New 52 timeline, wearing a spiked, punk version of his first costume.

The Tim Drake Robin/Red Robin costume history

Tim Drake was the third person to assume the mantle of Robin and serve as Batman's sidekick, and has also been the third person to assume the mantle of Red Robin. Tim has worn a quite a few costumes as a teenaged vigilante. Tim fist assumed the role of Robin when he deduced Batman's identity and realized that without a Robin to balance him out, the Caped Crusader was spiraling into darkness. Tim's Robin costume was based on the outfit worn by the original Robin, Dick Grayson, but with added touches. No longer would Robin wear green shorts and a red tunic. As Robin Tim wore an armored red vest and green leggings, and replaced the pixie boots of the original Robin with black combat boots and lined the outside of the yellow cape with black for additional stealth. He even altered the R logo into a sharp yellow emblem that could be thrown as a shuriken. Tim wore his Robin costume until the death of his best friend Superboy, and wore a new black-and-red costume (Superboy's color scheme) to honor him. Tim's new suit also had touches of Batman's costume, as it had black trunks and gloves with scalloped spikes. When Batman's son Damian Wayne was given the Robin identity, Tim was crushed. He left the Bat-team and decided to wear the Red Robin costume that had been briefly worn by Jason Todd, the second Robin (and the costume worn by a future version of Dick Grayson). The black cowl and armored emblem gave the former Boy Wonder a more menacing look. When he reconciled with Batman he streamlined his Red Robin suit, adding lightweight armor and added the scalloped spikes back to his gloves. When Tim found himself in a bizarre cyberspace reality called the Unternet, he discovered his Red Robin suit had been altered, as his cowl was now a sharply pointed mask and his suit was primarily black with red boots and a red bird emblem.

After the events of Flashpoint created the New 52 continuity, Tim's history was altered. In this new reality, Tim was recruited by Batman and became Red Robin early on as he felt it was too soon to replace Jason Todd as Robin when the world assumed the second Robin had been killed by the Joker. Tim's first Red Robin costume was similar to his second Robin costume, only more armored and without the black trunks (and with a stylized red mask). When Tim left Batman after Damian became Robin, he created a hi-tech Red Robin costume that combined elements of the Robin costume with that of the original Red Robin costume. His new suit even had glider wings that allowed Red Robin to fly. When Tim finally returned to work with Batman, he created a suit that looked very similar to his original Robin costume, except he changed the symbol to two interlocking R's and wore green boots instead of black.

The Mattie Franklin (Spider-Woman III) Costume history.

Despite being Spider-Woman for little more than a year, Mattie Franklin has worn a lot of costumes. Her first costume was based on the classic Spider-Man costume, minus the web designs and with the addition of a ponytail. After a villain stole her powers, Mattie retired the costume, and when she got them back she briefly wore a makeshift costume of a navy-and-green leotard with a domino mask and high-heeled boots. Afterwards, Mattie designed a blue-and-red costume with a spider-symbol (similar to the one on Spider-Man's back) and large web wings. Shortly after she altered that costume, changing the blue to black, shortening the gloves and adding spider-patterned shorts. Still not satisfied, she removed the web wings and then added a red cowl with a black spider emblem, a larger spider-emblem on the chest, and black-and-red gloves and leggings. When the woman who stole her powers returned, Mattie showed up to fight her wearing a purple one-piece bathing suit with a black spider emblem,  with matching mask, gloves, and high-heeled ankle boots. Thankfully Mattie retired that costume quickly and designed a new navy-and-silver costume with a silver spider-symbol and web wings. Finally, Mattie came up with a Spider-Woman costume would keep with for the rest of her career, a black-and-red costume with a very stylized spider-symbol and shorter, scallop-edged web wings.

Powers Rangers for 2019: Power Rangers Beast Morphers

In a surprising move, next year's Power Ranger series won't be based on the two recent Sentai seasons; it will be an adaptation of 2012's sentai season, Go-Busters! Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters (a series based on animals and spies) was skipped for Kyoryuger (Power Rangers Dino Charge). Well now it is going to be the newest Power Rangers. Lets meet the Rangers.

Red Ranger, gifted with super speed, pilots the Cheetah Zord (which has race car and Battlezord modes)

Blue Ranger, with the power of super strength, pilots the Gorilla Zord (which has a truck mode)

Yellow Ranger, gifted with the power to jump incredibly high, is the first Ranger to be based on a Rabbit. Her Rabbit Zord has a helicopter mode.

The Gold Ranger pilots the Beetle Zord (which has a construction crane and Battlezord mode)

Silver Ranger (who could possibly be a robot in the Power Rangers adaptation) pilots the Insect Zord (which has a jet mode)

The Black Ranger (who may be from a parallel dimension) pilots the Lion Zord (which has a motorcycle and a Battlezord mode)

The Beast Megazord is the combination of the Cheetah, Gorilla, and Rabbit Zords.

The Sector Megazord is the combination of the Beetle and Insect Zords.

The Super Beast Megazord is the combination of the Cheetah, Gorilla, Rabbit, Beetle, and Insect Zords.

The Lion Megazord is the combination of the Lion, Gorilla, and Rabbit Zords.

The Ultra Beast Megazord is the combination of the Cheetah, Gorilla, Rabbit, Beetle, Insect, and Lion Zords.

Comparing the legacy of Supergirl and Spider-Woman

Supergirl and Spider-Woman are both the female counterparts of iconic heroes who wear blue-and-red costumes, but that isn't the only similarities these two superheros share.

The Originals: Kara Zor-El and Jessica Drew were the first women to become Supergirl and Spider-Woman respectively. Both women became superheroes due to their parents trying to save them from radiation poisoning. Kara Zor-El was born on a chunk of Krypton that had been converted into the floating city of Argo after the planet's destruction. When meteorites pierced the atmospheric shield of the city, they unleashed Kryptonite radiation in the ground. Dying of exposure to the lethal radiation, Kara's parents sent her to Earth to live with her cousin Kal-El aka Superman in the city's only escape rocket. On Earth, she was found by her cousin and assumed the identity of Supergirl. Jessica Drew lived on a mountain that had high levels of uranium in the ground. When she showed signs of radiation poisoning, her father put her in a pod that infused her with spider-DNA since spiders had radiation resistance. Jessica hibernated in the pod for years when she emerged as a spider-powered adult. Despite having no connection to Spider-Man, she was called Spider-Woman.  Both woman became iconic heroes for a while until it was decided they both had to die. Kara died fighting the Anti-Monitor, while Jessica died fighting Morgan Le Fay (Jessica was revived but lost all her powers in the process)

                               
Psychic replacements: When Kara died and Jessica was de-powered, each was replaced by a new hero using the Supergirl and Spider-Woman names. Both women used psionic energy to mimic having Kryptonian and spider-based powers. Linda Danvers became Supergirl when she merged with a protoplasmic lifeform called Matrix. After the merge, Linda found that she had telekinesis; a power she used to fly, surround herself with a protective shield that mimicked invulnerability, boost her strength, and fire psionic force blasts. Julia Carpenter was tricked into being part of a government experiment to create superheroes. An injection of spider venom mixed with plant extracts turned Julia into the the new Spider-Woman with the power to create webs of solid psychokinetic energy. Her psionic powers also allowed her to cling to walls by psychokinetically bonding her fingers and toes to any surface.

Both Linda and Julia recieved new powers that ended up with the two getting sidelined. Linda briefly became an Earth-born Angel of Fire while she was Supergirl. She lost her angelic abilities, only to have them unexpectedly returned and then she was trapped in Hell. Julia became Madame Web when Cassandra Webb died in her arms and gave all her psychic powers to Julia. However a cosmic event involving all the spider-powered heroes in the multiverse caused the new Madame Web to fall into a coma and awaken after the event ended stripped of all her powers.

Third try was not the charm: Cir-El and Mattie Franklin were the third Supergirl/Spider-Woman iterations. Cir-El was the genetically engineered daughter of Superman created by an evil organization to be their own Supergirl, and Mattie gained super-strength and flight from a evil magic ritual and used those powers to assume the mantle of Spider-Woman. Both Cir-El and Mattie had unusual powers. Cir-El could fire a blast of red solar radiation from her entire body, while Matte gained the power to sprout psychically powered spider-legs from her back after fighting an evil version of Spider-Woman. However they weren't popular with the fans and both were quickly gotten rid of.

Back again: Kara and Jessica were brought back as Supergirl and Spider-Woman with new origins. Kara was now placed on a ship along with her baby cousin when Krypton was exploding. She was supposed to take care of her cousin, but her ship crashed into an asteroid and Kara was trapped in suspended animation for decades. She was eventually freed by the asteroid's destruction and she finally made her way to Earth where she became Supergirl. Jessica Drew was revealed to have been exposed to a bio-energy beam containing spider-DNA while in the womb due to experiments her father was performing for HYDRA. Her powers were returned and she once again became Spider-Woman.
